June 28th, 1953 - Journal of Aaron White

They're gone. The holes in the sky are gone.
We aren't sure about what happened, but we were woken up a few minutes ago after a strange sound was heard. It doesn't put any of us at ease though... What caused it? what made it go away? We need to find out. Im even more fearfull now.

June 27th, 1953

Something bad is happening. Yesterday we saw hundreds of Chimeran ships hovering over The Gulf of Mexico. Then later in the afternoon, a huge explosion happened and we saw the entire fleet whiped out. Once the dust hade settled, we saw a hole in the sky and what appeared to be 2 planets. It was probably the scariest thing to happen during the time since the invasion.

The people are getting restless and want to leave. They say its not safe here but we don't know where else to go or anything about whats happened since the hole opened up.

God help us. We need you now more than ever. Please, if you're there...

June 23rd, 1953

We made it, one truck was attacked, but the other 3 escaped and we made it to Florida. One of the men says that there is an old fort in the area. Thats where we plan to set everything up. Its supposed to have radio equipment and everything. Maybe we can get the word out to any survivors. Lets hope other made it through all of this.

June 22nd, 1953

The dayes of my journal entries are becoming further apart every time I write, Nothing new has really been happening. Oddly, we haven't run into any chimera since my last entry. We've decided to move everyone south. The fort has several trucks that we will use, and some cars that we're found in nearby towns. Its going to be a tight fit, but we can only afford 1 trip. Our destination is Crawfordville, Florida. its about half a day from here, so we will be leaving Norfolk early in the morning.

Also, I wanted to ask a few of the scientist guys about this "Arc Charger" we found awhile back. They seemed to believe it was just a modified version due to resources possibly running low, but after a weapons test they realized that its not even an Arc Charger. They have decided to call it an "Atomizer" its the first any human has ever seen. From what they gather, it pretty much destroys us Atom by Atom. Such a device should never be used, so I have asked the men to destroy it. I can only hope my plea didn't fall upon deaf ears

June 16th, 1953

We seem to be finding more Chimera everytime we go out to look for supplies, I'm sure they notice that patrols from this area never return and are starting to send bigger forces each time. James has suggested that we look for shelter else where and move everyone there soon. I agree, but moving so many people will take a long time and I don't think we have enough men to protect the entire group.

God help us.

June 10th, 1953 - Journal of Aaron White

For the first time in days, I got some well needed rest. We got back from yet another search which turned into a fight. All of us have been given  the rest of the day and night off, Now I can finally crawl into bed with my wife and child at a decent hour.

WHile we were out today, I found some strange weapon. When I brought it back, the guys that are in charge of the Chimera's technology said it was called an "Arc Charger". Supposedly they don't even use them anymore so the guys were a little surprised we found one that had some ammo. Theses things have some amazing technology. How they do it is beyond me.

I asked one of the men named Chase about some info on these "Chimera". He didn't have much, but one thing that surprised me is that they have been excavating towers all over the world. Many scientist now believe that the creatures were here long before humans. Makes me curious about why they are back and why they must have left.

June 5th, 1953 - Journal of Aaron White

Just got in from another town sweep, we were fortunate not to lose anyone this time. 2 days ago we lost 3 men. 2 shot to death and another ran off. Basically we just go out and search for resources and survivors. If we run into any trouble, they have given use each a waepon called a Bullseye. Once we take care of any ambushers or attacks, we take whatever weapons and ammo they have.

The technology these creatures have is incredible. One had a gun that could actually shoot through walls! James called it an Auger. It can also put up a shield that will stop other bullets from going through. Fascinating!! I need to look more into these weapons. Once we are skilled enough with simple things like the Bullseye and Carbine, they will move us up to other weapons (assuming ammo is sufficiant)

May 31st, 1953 - Journal of Aaron White 9:20 pm

Well, I went to go see my bro. I wish I could just describe the look on his face when he saw us and the baby. I caught him up on pretty much everything. We both just about broke down when I brought up mom and dad not making it.

On a lighter note, I just hear that they plan to send myself and a few other new guys out to look for food. Guess thats the best way to get us prepared since there isnt really an area for training. Im a little nervous about the whole thing. We will have weapons, so we won't be completely defenseless. Looking forward to it...

May 31st, 1953 - Journal of Aaron White 9:56

Been awhile, I enlisted today. Jenna wasn't too happy about it but she understands why I need to do this. Also, James and his men finally returned. Im about to go see him as soon as he has been debriefed, I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees us and the baby.
